Dialect Dilemma

Yesterday I listened to Austrians foreign minister Ursula Plassnik while she talked about Turkeys entry to the European Union.

It was quite difficult to concentrate on the content of her speech since it was coloured in broad austrian dialect.

Due to her dialect it was also difficult to take her serious and in the end it seems that a lot of people apart from myself obviously had the same problem (although it might have been due to the content as well).
