Daily Pilgrimage

I guess hardly anybody ever heard of the Nusslberg Pilgrimage, not even mentioning anybody who ever actually did that pilgrim hike up the 886m high(rather small) mountain in the Inn valley (right at the crosshair in this satellite image).

Well, we just hiked up there and passed many signs, picturing the ordeal of Jesus Christ. They were probably erected to distract the pilgrims from the steep and strenuous path up, although it hardly trigger the curiosity drive as we all know how the story ends.

The origin of the pilgrimage chapel was the story of children who discovered some sheep kneeling in front of a picture of the suffering mother of Christ at this place... C'mon, at least it's funny!
