Love Letters
Yesterday I saw a part of A.R. Gurneys' play Love Letters.
It is about a special bond between two people who never become a true couple within their lifetime. Although both go different ways, marry (someone else) and start seperate families, their love towards each other is displayed within their more or less constant exchange of letters.
There is not so much desperate desire and frustration about those who were meant to be together but never really get together.
It is more about getting the insight that the lives of two people do not necessarily need to interlock and synchronise to still keep a special place in your heart for each other.

Dr Sno..
I have a friendship very similar to the theme of the play......I may go months without talking....but the special connection and caring is always there.and like the play.I feel no frustration or sadness...instead it keeps my heart warm to know there is someone very unique in this world that I have connected with.....when I am old and gray, this loving friendship will keep my heart warm....
I go through my day to day life as a happy person...and when I think of this person, who is very far away and living his own happy life, it makes my heart even fuller.......
How can that ever be a bad thing?
Lisa
I think it can't be a bad thing ;)
Ich habe nun schon mehrfach versucht, die Buchform aufzutreiben. Kein einfaches Unterfangen...
